The problem with humans
Added 2019-12-26 10:48:51 +0000 UTCRecently I asked a girl if she'd be interesting in modeling for me, and she was super keen on the idea, but then her mother saw my gallery and ... She's probably not going to be in front of my camera any time soon.
My main portfolio is about a third athletic nudes and shibari and that's just not going to fly. When last time I conducted a poll on facebook, 100% of my existing clients said they wouldn't be put off by the nudes. But it's the new clients, the people who don't know me, who are going to see them and I'm not sure the wheels won't turn the wrong way in their minds.
Recently an existing client said that they wouldn't have considered shooting with me, because of the things in my gallery, until their friend said good things.
And so now I'm sorting out the gallery. I strongly suspect NFGphoto will have to go all-clothed... And now I'm not sure how to present the other stuff.

It's so sad that pole is still frowned upon by some people. The art director of the 2000 Olympic opening ceremony had pole dancers, but it's still stigmatised and deemed inherently sexist. I'm not sure what is going to change that.
