Campus Lyfe (Progress Update #5)

Greetings, it's been a while so it's time for another dev update regarding the development of Campus Lyfe. It's been 3 months since the last update so I just want to key everyone in on what's been going on.

I'm still job hunting so I actually have free time now and as such I've been working on Campus Lyfe. Here's a breakdown of what I have been able to achieve.:

Renders & Animations

These past 3 months of working have made one thing clear. Chapter 1 is going to be the biggest Chapter of Campus Lyfe. There are currently 300+ renders and I am not even close to halfway done yet. By my estimations, Chapter 1 of Campus Lyfe will be at least twice the size of Ophelia's Date Night with about half the number of animations. This month and most of next month will be dedicated to the renders while May will be focused on the rendering and reviewing the animations. 

Chapter will be the biggest chapter and subsequent chapters will be a lot smaller so there will be more frequent releases. I am currently aiming for a release in early July. This will be the Beta Build for $10 Patrons. The full release will follow a week or two later.

User Interface/Mechanics

This has been going great. The phone system is coming along great and I might actually finish it by next month. The roadblocks I had have been cleared so once I'm done with that then I can set up the free roam sections. 

Writing/Story

I implemented a new writing system to make this easier. Chapter 1 is almost done (With a good chunk of the dialogue ready) and the groundwork for Chapter 2 is already in progress. Things have been going a lot more smoothly with my new method now. I am not dedicating any single month to writing. I just set aside an hour or two every day to add content to it.

Fanart Suggestions will be back on the 1st of April. I will be releasing the new list of characters available and I will rotate it every cycle to make sure that every character has a fair shot.

Conclusion
