Hello all you new years and nude yous, 

Jumping right into the swamp on this one because tickets should be going live TOMORROW! 

Y’all, January has been a whirlwind so far. Pitches for Feeling Shrexy closed January 6th, and we received a whopping 65+ pitches from close to 40 applicants. Like… how are we supposed to choose between all these amazing numbers? 

I had decided to just put the all on stage in a 6 hour long non-stop Shrek Burlesque Marathon, but then realized I'm never gonna financially recover from that, and we chose a fantastic selection  of numbers instead. 

Peek behind the curtain: we received 10 pitches for Gingey, 9 for Fairy Godmother, a bunch for Puss in Boots and Fiona, and almost every one of them was great. We also received a pitch for the Nice Boulder… who I of course hired because I need that creativity in my life.

It was also hilarious to sit in a professional production meeting with a professional venue while we all keep a straight face while repeatedly using the term “Feeling Shrexy”. What a professional business person I am. 

Anyway with 16 numbers and a bunch of terrible puns prepared, you should come see the show! It will of course also be posted on Patreon in March or April depending on editing schedules.
