I feel it was more about two grieving parents coming together than romance. And Louis’ acceptance of himself. They will always love each other but probably need more time apart. I am living for vampire Daniel! You’re one of only a couple reactors who caught his transformation during the interview. The guy who interviewed him played Gale Boetticher in Breaking Bad.

2026-01-22 20:03:55 +0000 UTCSam and Louis at the end, grieving the loss of Claudia together for the first time time—she said she was “just a roof shingle that flew off of your house…in the stormy romance of you two.” So fitting that they come together in their grief in the middle of a hurricane in the family home. Sam’s delivery of “did you hurt yourself?” Breaks me every time! You can feel the love there. Not that Louis needs to choose one of them at all, but somehow Lestat’s dropping him from 2km feels healthier (for vampires) than completely rewriting 70 years of betrayal so you can be with the man whose daughter you murdered. Fucking yikes. This is up there for one of the best shows of all time! The Vampire Lestat looks like it is going to be completely unhinged and I’m so excited for it!
