[WOTD] Beatrice redesign ❤

Hello Patreons!

Beatrice won the third poll due to the power of multiplied votes! As I have done in previous posts, now I will show you the new design and talk a bit about the plans for the character in the WOTD remake.

So far, we have only seen Beatrice a few times, but I think it has been made clear that she is a cold, distant, and strict mother. It is also mentioned that she works as a secretary and is a workaholic, which creates even more distance between her and Yury.

I don't remember exactly if the situation of her husband, Yury's father, is mentioned in any part of the story. But so far, he was also a very busy man with his work too, which is why he was not at home much either.

Of course, when creating the original design, I took into account that she should look like Yury's mother, so her hair color had to be the same, and her eyes color could be the same or not very different. Regarding her outfit, I wanted to give her something that demonstrates her aforementioned work addiction, which is why I decided to include a headset and two watches among her accessories.

Now it's time to see Beatrice's new design!

For this new redesign, I wanted Beatrice to look more similar to Yury (and although she will also be redesigned later, I want to stay true to her hairstyle).

Here is a comparison between both designs.

For the remake, I plan to maintain Yury's difficult relationship and family situation, but making changes to Beatrice's marital status and profession. Now Beatrice will be a divorced woman from her husband but still retains his last name. She will no longer be a secretary; now she will be a dedicated and hardworking lawyer with many clients, enjoying a good reputation for her excellent effectiveness.

In this way, Beatrice's cold and distant personality would make even more sense within the story. Also, being divorced, Yury's family situation would open up more possibilities for future dialogues.

I have worked even hard and faster for this new redesign because tomorrow I want to create a post to announce version 0.12.0 for Paladins.

Oh, and I have in mind that maybe, for the next poll, you should choose whether the next should be the introduction of a new character or continue with another redesign.

¡Beatrice ganó la tercera encuesta debido al poder multiplicado de votos! Y como ya he hecho en los anteriores post, ahora voy a mostrarles el nuevo diseño y hablarles un poco acerca de los planes para el personaje en el remake de WOTD.

Hasta ahora, solo hemos visto pocas veces a Beatrice, pero creo que ha quedado claro que ella es una madre fría, distante y estricta. Además, se menciona que ella se desempeña como secretaria y es una adicta al trabajo, lo que genera aún más distancia entre ella y Yury.

No recuerdo exactamente si se menciona en alguna parte de la historia la situación de su esposo, es decir el padre de Yury. Pero hasta ahora, él también era un hombre muy ocupado con su trabajo y por eso tampoco estaba mucho tiempo en casa.

Por supuesto que, a la hora de crear el diseño original, he tenido en cuenta que debía verse como la madre de Yury, así que el color de cabello tenia que ser el mismo, y el color de sus ojos podría ser también el mismo o uno no muy diferente. En cuanto a su outfit, busqué darle algo que demuestre su ya mencionada adicción al trabajo, es por eso que decidí incluir un auricular y también dos relojes dentro de sus accesorios.

¡Ahora es momento de ver el nuevo diseño de Beatrice!

Para este nuevo rediseño, he buscado que Beatrice luzca más similar a Yury (y aunque ella también será rediseñada luego, quiero mantenerme fiel a su estilo de cabello).

Aqui les dejo una comparativa entre ambos diseños.

Para el remake, tengo planeado mantener la difícil relación y situación familiar de Yury, pero haciendo cambios en el estado civil de Beatrice y también su profesión.

Ahora Beatrice será una mujer divorciada de su marido, pero que aun conserva su apellido. Ya no será una secretaria, ahora será una abogada dedicada y trabajadora con muchos clientes, y que goza de una buena reputación por su excelente efectividad.

De esta manera, la personalidad fría y distante de Beatrice tendría aún más sentido dentro de la historia. Además de que, al estar divorciada, la situación familiar de Yury abriría más posibilidades para futuros diálogos.

He trabajado aún más duro y rápido para este nuevo rediseño, ya que mañana quiero crear un post para anunciar la versión 0.12.0 para Paladins.

Oh, y tengo en mente que tal vez, para la siguiente encuesta, ustedes elijan si lo siguiente deberia ser la presentación de un nuevo personaje, o continuar con otro rediseño.
