You just yapped at me about Hate Rodrigo after light prompting. That's my point. It gets discussed and Love War goes unknown. I won't speculate on how Yena feels or what she wants, but the results she gets from cute concept vs mature concept is clear. Whether she wants to keep the tension up and be cute all the time, that's what's expected from her.

2024-11-13 14:59:37 +0000 UTCHate Rodrigo was a mistake, one that Yena and her company quickly admitted by terminating all promotion for the song. It was a poor title for song. And an absolute marketing failure. I love Yena, I support her at music shows, I loved her in Iz*one and she makes outstanding music but that was a bad call of a track. It's not people 'yappin' it was a disaster. Yena is not pigeonholed into be being cute and bubbly, she embraces it. She has since she started appearing regularly on variety shows as fixed cast, way back in 2019.

It was my first time hearing Yena's 'Love War' too, and my jaw dropped at the same time as both of yours did! 😂 Her voice in that song gave me goosebumps! I think I just fell in love with Yena 🙈

Oh My Girl has some of the best children songs in all of K-Pop & I love silly korean children's songs. 😁 If you really like this one, you should check out the Baby Shark one, Bara Bam & Boggle Boggle. There’s a meme among Miracles about why these three members were chosen for this song: Arin had to participate because she’s the maknae, Yubin because she lost at rock-paper-scissors, and Hyojung simply because she loves it. At their concert last year, the “allergic monkeys” and “non-allergic monkeys” switched to perform special stages, which was very funny. By the way, Oh My Girl has a new show called Oh My Way on their YouTube channel every Thursday, in case you want to watch!
