Idk where the dorm auntie lives but it's normal if she comes in the morning and leaves at night and not live together with the members because during their debut they barely had room for themselves. But, i believe there was/is a manager living at the dorm together with hyo and yuri and occasionally taeyeon

I love Taeyeon with everything in mean so I mean this with love but that girl operates like a Sim when she’s not working. Truly a subtle chaotic person. And you can think of a dorm manager as a caregiver considering when they are first moved together they were teenagers who had busy schedules. So task like making sure the dorm is together having food in the fridge things like that and she stayed in the same building as them for easy availability. Now that they live separately I think more of schedule time or request to visit kind of thing.

As for the dorm situation, hyoyeon is the only one who permanently lives at the dorms still. She originally moved back home to live with her parents in incheon but it's about a 1.5 hour commute to seoul so it was easier for her to just stay at the dorms while she has projects and it's free living so she mainly stays there. Yuri's house is close by but when she has projects or schedules, she ends up going home in the middle of the night so she just prefers to stay at the dorms so she doesn't bother her parents when they're sleeping. Taeyeon definitely has her own place but I can't tell if she's in the same building or not for the dorm auntie to be making her food. Altho I think she's also the same case as yuri and hyo where if she's doing projects and stuff she prefers to stay at the dorm too. As for the dorm auntie, I don't believe she lives with them in the dorm itself. I think she is definitely more of just a caregiver who helps clean and cooks for them at the dorms. Like how hyo mentioned she was there that morning when she went out so it doesn't sound like she's there 24/7 but definitely there enough to sit and chat with them.

2024-11-09 07:28:26 +0000 UTChonestly rewatching this made me realize...there's prob no way SM woulda left these gurls by themselves ESPECIALLY the leader LOL but yeah I didn't know this aunt ever existed till 2022 and yuri and hyo still lives/pays for the dorm cuz of cheap rent and other things. thanks for the drop :) ...was expecting it to be around Sunday

2024-11-09 07:18:34 +0000 UTCAs far as I know, Hyoyeon is the only one still live at the dorm since her house is far. Yuri and Taeyeon sometimes come to stay if they have schedules. The rest of them either live with their families or have their own place
