I have never eaten balut my entire life and I was born and grew up in the Philippines. Mom and Dad eats them but they've never made me eat it. I used to eat penoy (the sister of balut) when I was a kid. Never had it again since. Though balut became part of the culture since it's one of the most unique Filo food; it's like the energy booster in the early years being mainly sold in the evening.

if i remember correctly, they have done Bata Kaya Mo. i'm not sure with blooming, i haven't had the chance to catch the latest streams yet. but surely they'd get to that too. you can look up the spreadsheet for what they've done for the reactions in their streams.

your faces!!! when balut came up HAHAHHA excitement just vanished. i have mixed feelings about balut like the girls. i like it sometimes but also i get so grossed out other times. one thing is for sure, the soup is my favorite part about, especially when it's still warm!! i always tell myself, i shouldn't force myself to eat it whole. whatever makes me enjoy it is enough. but you know what, cooked balut with the added flavor and spices is kinda good introduction to like the traditional raw one. but yeah if it's not to your palette then nah. the chinese food thoughhh, i tried it there and everything i tried is just so good!! when it was a productive day at school, i go with my friends there to eat. so much comfortttttt!!!

You guys should watch their performance for the online fundraising for the victims of the recent storm here in the PH. It's heartwarming and they showcase their RAW vocals. PLUS they donated part of the earnings from their upcoming concert. Like it or not tho, balut is part of the filipino culture and heritage. And it's not considered exotic in the Philippines, it's actually just street food. There are balut vendors everywhere here in the PH so it's a local delicacy. And they visited Pateros, a town known for its balut by-products and as a duck-raising industry as early as 1834, so it only makes sense to feature balut. I actually like and appreciate Kess and Han's reactions here. They remained genuine, and even if they didn't like what the girls were eating, they remained respectful.

I dont like balut either. Never tried it my whole life. It's an exotic food in PH. Only a few eats it. They should've went along showed other foods in PH. There's so many good ones yet they showcased balut. I get the chinese food bc they went to the oldest china town but those are not showcasing the food people eats in PH. Never tried ciao long bao in the PH. It's rare to see a restaurant serving authentic ciao long there. They should redo this content and actually go to places that are great and where many people/tourist go. Anyways, love you reaction! Thanks for the upload.

I got used to eating balut at a young age, so I thought it was a normal food. I realized it wasn’t when some of my older friends said they were scared of it. Then, after moving to Holland, it turned out to be considered exotic.

You can see in Mikha's face that she doesn't like eating balut. Even the camera didn't focus on her when they were eating. HAHAHA
