Basically, any vitamin/supplement recommendations should be tailored to an individual's lifestyle. Idols are probably given them for preventative measures because of their busy schedules. They may not always be able to eat a balanced diet and may be more prone to injuries from overexertion. In the clinics I've work at, the providers didn't worry about deficiencies in healthy adults unless the patient was showing symptoms. Otherwise, if you get regular physicals, your provider may ask for some bloodwork every few years to check. The more common prescriptions given based on these results were a Multivitamin, Vitamin D, Iron, and fish oil.

You should really consider checking that out (as tier 2 content). It's a show that heals the mind and body (no joke lol). But the best part is that you can actually discover the REAL IU.

Since this was only the 4th episode of the show, you will slowly see IU become more and more comfortable and skilled as a host, and thus more of a prankster (teasing her guests), as the episodes go on.
