2024-06-07 13:00:53 +0000 UTCI think a lot of the difference between her coaching in Youth With You and her doing this evaluation was that You With You she was working with people who were mostly (if not all I can't remember clearly) already Idols in China and when she coached them they had already been practicing and learning the choreo for a few days and them not knowing the steps was extremely frustrating for her because (my assumption) it would never be tolerated even as a trainee to not have learned the choreo in that amount of time. Her main job was the help them with the details and make the dance look polished and really good, but she had to take a lot of time for the lower grades to teach them parts of the dance they should have already known. Which speaks to the difference in standards between different nation Idols and their training and what they focus on. Here she knows they're trainees, but they've also trained under kpop standards so she knows she doesn't have to be hard on them when they have teachers and YG to do that anyway.
