Usually you put the word girl or boy in front of it.....Im sure they used some sort of automated translation program for the subs so it kept referring to hayeon as Lim Hyung-joon's nephew by default

Something similar to being named Herbert or Abraham or Lyndon....like from generations ago) when her name is actually joonseo (which is actually considered quite a pretty female name)
