2024-05-06 20:55:21 +0000 UTCThat's because when y'all got into mamamoo ya'll got the laid back goofy version of solar I remember I used to be scared of her when I first got into kpop like 2016/17 when I didn't know their personalities & how goofy/ chaotic they were I would always see solar randomly at like award shows or in the background of videos never smiling you'd be easily intimidated by them especially solar girl has a fierce mean mug/ glare I thought she was soo strict & no nonsense type of leader especially when they're being shy & not smiling the whole group is intimidating but that video of her being shook because Jimin didn't see her saying hello & hwasa & moonbyul laughing at her changed how I saw her

A lot of people change their behavior in group settings to accommodate the others, especially the leaders. You can see a lot more of Solar and Colleague 1's personalities through their YT channels. Also, I think Solar learned pre-debut that she had to be more careful with her words around her members, especially with baby Hyejin.

It's even in the little things, like how she always is there holding people's hands for support while they go up or down the stairs. I think you'd like Apink and especially Eunji, she has such a beautiful and powerful voice, and she's very charismatic.

2024-05-06 09:50:21 +0000 UTCsurprised you’re not super familiar with apink! 1/3 of my ult groups, you probably actually have heard most/all their title tracks playing on shows etc as they were/are huge in korea- plus they’ve got one of the best vocalists in korea with eunji (whose friends with IU), and chorong is the leader! ill never miss an opportunity to promote apink :)

They’re really similar when you watch their dynamic to their group. Also hope you guys react to Apink in the future. They’re such a gem in both their music and variety (oh! and acting too)

They have all time classic songs, have been around forever, are mainstream entertainment GENIUSES (so not just their own channel but the entire group was a regular mainstay on shows like Running Man for years), have a cpl members who are phenomenal actors (One is in Queen of Tears right now), have a member that has a voice that rivals (and for me personally is slightly better in terms of breadth and depth of voice) mamamoo level vocals in Eunji.....just an all around all time group
