Cape Escape 2 - Session Zero #1 (& early art!)

I had to check my bookshelf, sixth edition came out? Jesus that was like twenty fucking years ago. Excited to see where the system has gone. Call of Cthulhu also means delicious sanity break magic and I'm all on board for characters foolishly pushing their understanding <3

It's really cool seeing how the planning stage is going and just getting to experience some of the bts stuff as it's happening this time. Excited to see more horror-esque things from this world and the relative direction of survival horror seems like such a good fit for the less magical cast of characters compared to Deadlaws. Creative use of otherwise normal things always seems to capture my interest!

A little disappointed Manifesto will not return, but I do kind of like the mild Jojo vibes we've got with a descendant of a previous character showing up and Sandals kind of being the sociopathic Speedwagon Foundation CEO. So we go from escape room horror comedy to weird west action horror seinen anime vibes to prison break/mystery/survival stuff?
