Added 2025-09-13 12:25:08 +0000 UTCI was running a poll to make a point to some of the Ducks who thought it would be a good idea, but sadly nope. Hell, even I hate checking discords for my patreon content. And there's nothing really else to do.
So I do want to just say that I am deeply disappointed in whichever Patron is doing this. A bunch of my work becomes free after a while, hell even the Alpha Builds are meant to show off what's coming soon, and the only ways I've managed to sort those is to stop uploading the file directly, and to just update Itch instead. But they still get the passwords and access codes.
So.
I'm a very small creator. The income I get from Patreon goes towards bills and taxes and a portion of my rent because where I live? There are no jobs. Genuinely, check the news, no jobs in my area, it's downright famous for it. I can't move to a better area either lol. So I try to keep my Patreon going as best as I can when doing odd jobs. I don't care about people sharing posts with friends, or saving stuff, or whatever, but giant swathes of my work being uploaded that's made free later on anyway? It's disappointing. I'd like to politely ask for whomever is doing it to stop, but I doubt that will happen.

Inky I’m so sorry you have this to deal with. I only voted no to discord because being in the UK in the current climate of having to verify age, and I’m very against giving anyone my info online. I love all you do, and I hate that someone uses your creative genius for ill. I can’t offer a solution but I send you much love ❤️

A while later I was a patron for DarkfictionJude, and the motherfucker who shared her passwords have the audacity to comment on her post (similarly to u she too posted about it on Patreon), and they didn't show any empathy, they just told they where going to keep doing it, like a total shit. And like the other patron said, about linking your itchi.io with Patreon for access, I saw RamonaG (Crown of Exile) do that with her IF, hers is also on itchio so it should work great for u too. I really hope that whoever is sharing your stuff suffer from a month long of severe diarrhea.
