Despite how harsh life was in the sewer city, the one thing its residents could look forward to was a nice meal courtesy of Escoffier. Sure it wasn’t as clean as Hotel Debord but she managed. Speaking of her former workplace, Navia introduced her to The Traveler who sought her out over an ongoing incident at the hotel. She knew that Savanna, the current head chef, was harder on her staff but what Lumine described to her was outright abuse. Something had to be done. That something being a cook off, with Savanna challenging Escoffier. She gladly accepted but needed a team. She couldn’t count on Navia, anything she cooked would have an unacceptable amount of sugar. That left The Traveler who proved themselves to be a one-person team. The duo easily defeated Savanna, who promptly had a mental breakdown and causing quite the scene. With how much they helped out, Escoffier felt it was only natural to if there was anything she could for the Traveler. Lumine did have one request: a dish of sorts, one that only Escoffier herself could produce. The Patisserie Supreme could only fathom what the exalted Traveler could request from her vast array of delicacies. Not a word was spoken, the chef was simply given a piece of paper containing the ‘dish’ Lumine was craving. Her eyes widened in shock…than repulsion. This was what she wanted? Really? Still a promise was a promise. With the drama unfolding with Savanna having been taken outside and the crowd after them, the two were left alone in Hotel Debord. The table had been prepped and Lumine’s dish was promptly served before a disgusted Escoffier. Much to the chef’s horror, the Traveler indulged in a second and third helping.
