Even the great Guuji Yae needed a therapy session. Well therapy and a specific service. She’s been plagued by a bad dream as of late and it was ruining her sleep, which in turn slowed down her work on her newest light novel. This she couldn’t afford; she had to finish it soon for Yae Publishing House to stay competitive. The irony was that very service she sought was only offered at Aisa Bathhouse, an establishment Yae Miko considered a competitor. A major shareholder of the bathhouse was none other than a longtime friend of hers, Yumemizuki Mizuki. Despite their disagreements, and tricks she played on fellow yokai, Yae Miko really needed Mizuki’s ability to eat away her nightmares. Of course, Mizuki wouldn’t say no to an old friend though she wouldn’t be able to eat her away her nightmares this time. She claimed her last client’s nightmare gave her a nasty case of indigestion. Though she already had a backup plan! She asked that Yae Miko bring up her bare feet for a foot massage. The idea of getting a massage was not unwelcome by Yae Miko. Mizuki claimed that she and her colleagues might have found a way to relieve people of their bad dreams through foot massages. Of course, doing so necessitated the use of specific lotions that she was applying onto the soles of the kitsune. It was at this point that Yae Miko began to suspect Mizuki’s motives. Massages weren’t her specialty so why would she suddenly offer one? Admittedly she was doing a great job with the massage and those oils she was rubbing onto her feet made them feel heavenly but she couldn’t shake the feeling that there was more to this lotion than Mizuki was letting on. Indeed Mizuki admitted that there was more to this massage than just rubbing her feet. Or rather, she admitted, the treatment. The massage and rubbing the lotion on her feet was just preparing for the next phase of the treatment.
