Progress update

Hello everyone, here’s a progress update on the development! ✨
I’ve been working hard on the game while balancing it with my life and job, and progress is steady.

1. Main Quest (B6 ~ B5)
The main quest for floors B6 to B5 is now complete ✅.
Thanks to many of you who kindly sent me save files, I’ve been able to adjust the balance based on your data—but the production itself is finished.

As you can see from this screenshot, this main quest is by far the most complex and content-packed floor I’ve ever made. On B5, the map is so large that you’ll get more than four chances to rest in safehouses along the way 🛑.
Unlike B10 to B7, which mostly focused on mysterious monsters, starting from B6 the game’s story begins to take clearer shape—so naturally the scale and complexity increase.

2. New Characters
Along the way, the party will meet new characters 🤝. Most of them are weakened and cornered, each with their own story.
Rescue difficulty will be higher compared to previous floors (2 are easy, 1 is medium, and 2 are quite difficult!).
When the new update comes out, I recommend keeping solid save files on each floor—you won’t want to miss these characters!

3. New Systems
I’ve also added (and am still adding) various new systems ⚙️.
Right now, I’m focusing on implementing the free-actions of previous characters. I had written down tons of stories in a notepad but hadn’t yet applied them in-game, so I’m coding them in now—adding them character by character, then generating the necessary CGs 🎨.

Remaining tasks

When I first released this game, it took me about three months to release the next version. I expect a similar timeline this time too—so roughly one month left ⏳. I’ll do my best to stick to that, but please forgive me if it takes a little longer because of my tendency to keep adding more and more content. Either way, I’ll never abandon this project ❤️.

Thank you as always for your incredible support!

Comments

When given the option at the end of the day, choose the option to go to sleep. While sometimes you get nothing, occasionally you'll get scenes with Oscar. These will progressively attune you until you can pick up the first level of the nightmare perk in the chamber on floor 8.

How can I unlock the Nightmare feature

Roger

In addition to testing for technical bugs, just remember we still need to find out where the literal bugs on the 8th floor came from! Also, looking forwards to the revisions on Tristan's CGs. He's got a lot of potential, at least from the free action interactions. Let us know if you need any help with the translation process.

Unlikely, or at least certainly not as a priority. Writing branching narratives is a lot of work; especially for scenarios that many might not meet the conditions to unlock. I'm still hopeful for some more Arthur/Iman interactions!

will there be future path where multiple characters are involved? I noticed that some CG will triggers when you bring specific party members from the same floor.

I believe all of those were already reported bugs, but thank you again for letting me know! I should double-check them anyway… since the wizard one was actually pretty hard to fix. As for the maze, there were really passionate players who eventually gave up in frustration, and when I realized it was simply because I forgot to add one arrow, I can’t tell you how embarrassed I was 😅

Since you still have to test bugs, I have found two bugs on the current version that you are probably aware of already but just in case i'll tell you. First, the wizard cant fight, when hes on the team he doesnt appear during combat and he doesnt get experience. The second, in the maze with iman there is a secret arrow puzzle, but i think its broken, i get to the first blue arrow that points left, so i move right, but after that i cant find anything.
