here's a little update about recent actions
Already going the 4 day, we have stopped to be scared and fear are going away. From good news: almost non of the cities was taken, where was war activities, even if they are still going - regular citizens are getting weapons to save their homes and lives.
I think it's not pretty new for everyone that I have Russian citizienship. With my husband we are together already for 2,5 years, and to get officially married we have had to get special documents from goverment (so we have had no chance to just came and get married) - all of this because Russia is country-aggressor since 2014. We have get married 5 days ago (at 22 of Feb) and I'm incredibly happy, but sadly and suddenly we got in a "trouble". With recent news, I will (pretty high chances) be no longer available to use PayPal.
Since the 2014 PayPal have been planning to get into Ukraine, but due Russian aggression, they still haven't did it and it's not working here as it should. I'm highly worried that already today we will get news that PayPal will be no longer working for everyone who have Russian citizenship or living there. Hard times are already here, but everything is going worse.. But I will still do my best to do everything what I can.
So far we are learning and looking for alternative ways to replace PayPal, so we could have still getting money for work and we could live on that money as before. This whole situation with war connected us to each other and we are one. People are doing anti-tank structures and young guys making Molotov cocktails to protect their homes. I don't want anyone to see or go through something like this. I'm going to offline-mod now and will try to finish the patreon sticker benefits and owed works I have left in the coming days. Meanwhile, there is no active hostilities in my city yet, but a reconnaissance operation is underway. Young people and my husband are going around and protecting the city from those who put marks for Russian soldiers for money...
Our small family will appreciate so much if you can suggest what kind of services we can use instead of PayPal and which you guys could use to pay for something.
I love you all very much and we hope to get out of this situation. We will fight to win because we are on our land.

After doing a small amount of research, Ko-fi and Patreon only use Paypal or Stripe. However you could probably try SubscribeStar as it claims to allow nearly all banks. So, hopefully that would work.

I know you've probably heard of these already, but thought I'd share what I like to use for alternatives to PayPal. I've also heard of Stripe, but have never used it before. However, I would be open to using Stripe if you decided it would be the best option. Praying for peace... I can't possibly imagine what you guys are going through over there... Please stay safe. I think we can all understand that this is out of your control. Of course if work helps distract you thatās understandable, but if you need time to make youāre youāre safe and well (physically and mentally), please take the time to do so without guilt.
