Iโ€™d wait to see when the 5080 comes out, it โ€œshouldโ€ be cheaper and more powerful than a 4090, it probably wonโ€™t come out until Q2-Q4 of 2025 but still, see what is more convenient for you. The 3090 is still a good card, I think you could wait, I have a friend who is still rocking a 1080ti with 4K gaming, and he will upgrade when the 5090 comes out. In the end, see what is the best for you man

Iโ€™m currently in a bit og s pickle, i really want an upgrade over my rtx 3090. Iโ€™ve been looking at the 4090 for around 1600-1700 euro, but i canโ€™t seem to figure out if itโ€™s better to wait for a 5090 and hopefully get that on launch. Depending on the price, if it launches at 2500 euro, iโ€™d rather have the 4090. Do you have any knowledge on how soon the 5090 might launch, maybe oktober, september or maybe even later.
