Oooh, this is very cute, Didi 🥰 I really like the feel and colours of this scene. The overall cool feel of the green trees, blue water and grey rocks. The effects are lovely too, with the softness of the trees and the way the blue and green tones blend and fade into each other further back into the image. I also like the textures and painterly look of the rocks, as well as the way you've mixed warm and cool tones into the grey rocks, making them look more vibrant. The pose of the character is really nice too. She looks so cute as she leans back on the rocks and looks towards us. I like the foreshortening of her body as her torso leans back, with her legs overlapping each other and advancing towards us. I also like the way her calves spread out in opposite directions, with the feet being on different elevations too, giving some nice asymmetry to her legs. The colours for the character are lovely too, with the greens and white/greys contrasting with the warm tones of her brown hair, skin and boots. The rendering looks gorgeous too. I love the detail of her hair with the colours looking so vibrant. The cooler tones mixed into the edges of the hair contraast so nicely with the warm brown and I like how some edges of the hair fade into the background colours. The clothes have a lot of great detail to them too and as always, I really enjoy when you paint folds and creases in the materials. I really like the softer folds/ripples in her socks and painterly textures to them. The seams in both the hat and jacket are great little details and I like the overlapping sections across her boots. The hat might actually be my favourite piece of clothing on her, with the contrast between the brighter top planes and darker underside of the hat. The textures across the whole hat look great and there is a good variety of tones, with some browns mixed into the hat and a bright edge-light to make it all pop. Her warm skin tones look beautiful too with a lovely variety of tones. All of the skin we see looks so smooth and wonderfully painted too. I do also like the pinkish hues mixed into parts of her skin, most noticeable on her left calf. The bright, cool edge-lighting along her arm and left leg are also really nice, contrasting with the skin and showing how her calf overlaps her thigh. The face is super adorable too. I like her pursed lips and the little shine spot on her lower lips. Her red nose is really cute and it is always fun to see you paint a character with glasses. I'm typing this comment just before going to bed, so I might be a little incoherent from being tired 😅 But overall, this is a lovely painting with a cool, peaceful atmosphere that I really like, with the warm tones of the character standing out beautifully!
