Hey everyone! So you might have noticed that I've been very quiet on my profiles this month. I took some time off to just recuperate a little. As with most of us, the last few months have been very stressful. But I'm back in business this month!

Anyways, let's get to the WIP

Here I started off with the rough sketch. This one was actually pretty well defined for the rough stages.

Next I added all the base colours to more or less get a good colour scheme going.

Here I added a bright light source coming from the upper left side.

I wasn't quite happy with the snake's yellowish colour, so I made it a bit of a more de-saturated green.

Here I added most of the necessary colours and some reflective light. You can see that the gold below them is very light reflective. Although it's not as reflective in real life, this is how I did it just to really sell the composition.
