Shantae animation 100% complete! But...
Added 2020-12-01 02:49:26 +0000 UTCOk first of all sorry for the lack of updates, I know I said it was going to take less time but I've run into so many technical issues it's crazy and it ended up taking another month to fix everything and 3 days (with an rtx 2070 lol) to render the whole thing.
Was it worth the time? Not sure.
It turned out good? I worked on this for so long that I can't even tell anymore so you'll be the judges lol
I wish it was longer but to be honest I want to work on other characters (Taokaka says hi)
So... There's two good news and only a bad one!
The first one is that the animation is fully done and rendered, the second one is that I hired Mooni (@MissMoonified on twitter) again to work on Shantae's voice, she's amazing and I bet she'll do an amazing work.
The bad news is that you need to wait a little longer as I need her voice for the audio edit BUT it won't take too long don't worry.
To make up for it I dropped a little clip in this post ;)
(forget Shantae's voice, I stopped working on the audio and now it will be be completely different)
Once the animation is finally dropped I'll make a new poll for the next characters (just loops, I'm not mentally prepared for another long animation)

The last one is the foursome from the old wips, it's slightly different now and it evolves into another pose (I might make a loop out of it, we'll see) As for the lighting that's exactly what took me so long to fix, the map I used had a horrible prebuilt yellow/orange light on it and everything looked like it came out from a simpsons episode lol So I had to decompile the entire map, tweak it and send it back to sfm but I didn't have the time to do that so instead I used 6 lights and I tweaked them all in each single shot (oof) Honestly I'm glad it's finally finished, it's kinda short (but I might do a second part if enough people ask for it) and I think I showed too much but I can't wait to move on to new characters...
