Swallows III - late night demo

Good morning everyone, hope you had an easy and maybe even a little sunny start in this sunday. I went out for croissants earlier today and it felt very good to breathe in that crystal clear cold air outside. We still have minus degrees here, very typical for this time of year. After waking up we had a conversation about how I feel when someone complains about January haha, I always felt like I have a special connection with this month, cause it's my birth month, also the days are already getting longer again and it's the - in my opinion - nicer part of winter. Never been the biggest christmas fan either... What I'm trying to say with that is - January always felt like my month, if I want it or not, so I'm ready to stand up for it when people dislike it, haha.

But enough of winter talk - I want to share a new song draft with you today. As mentioned in the previous post I finished it last week. It was inspired by my grandma passing away, some parts are definitely about her or memories I shared with her. It's a late night recording, my voice sounds tired and so was I - but I really like the lyrics and the song itself. So I hope you enjoy it too.

I will hop on my bike to accompany a yoga class very soon, at the meantime a friend of mine is recording a new song of hers at our place. I can listen to her through the round open window we have inbetween the rooms. Sounds really nice, there's lots of music in this house since we got the studio ready :)
