[Art] Summer's Sweet and Sour Sales Pitch~!

Hello dearies,

Today I’m sharing Summer’s introduction scene, where she attempts to sell her homemade, totally safe-to-eat cookies! 😉

For the remake we decided to make introductory scenes for each major character to capture their personality.

Originally Summer’s cookie scene was avatars drawn specifically for this moment and never reused. So instead of one-off avatars, I focused on the horri… err, amazing cookies that she baked to really help you empathise with Bill’s experience when faced with Summer’s sweet and pushy sales tactics.

I really tried to capture how she uses her cuteness to make a deal. Although it isn’t a very complicated scene, I did try a few different ideas before settling on the final pose!

This was also the second scene that we tried using the 3D background on, instead of me drawing it. We took the 3D scene that Zuri made of the reception area and placed the camera so that it looked nice behind Summer when we rendered it out.
