Hellou there, and back to the roots, back to the piano meditation Sunday - I have returned from Berlin and am back in Vienna now! Even though, I took the chance to record this piece ,shortly before leaving my mums place, on her old Blüthner piano. I like to have variation :)
Today and this week I am preparing the next performances, I also definitely needed some time alone at home after being so social for pretty much three weeks in a row, not gonna lie... I have to play a wedding next week (kitschy German pop songs here I come) and a cute acoustic gig tomorrow evening, oh and a quite upbeat one next Wednesday here at the RHIZ Vienna, with another band called 'Roadside Assistance' (super talented people in there, check it out --> https://www.instagram.com/r0adside.assistance/)
This tune is calming one, it even relaxes me when I listen to it, because it feels like I'm listening to the piano itself and not to me playing... We're in A Major (it's a good one), and in the end a familiar little melody might have stolen its way into this improvisation, hihi, if you recognise it let me know :)
Wishing you all the best - thank you for being here once more, it warms my heart to see your support, being all independent and relying on yourself can be scary sometimes, so thank you a lot for giving me some sense of stability :)
xx
