Just thought of something guys. Wasn't it actually the 8th US Army that surrounded Manila and was in charge of the fighting there?
I remember reading it was the 8th army that followed the 6th army in New Gunie and then on Luzun and being in charge of the fighting for Manila. This past episode made it out that the 6th Army was besieging the Phillipine's capital city.

My parents talked incessantly about their experiences during WW2. After watching Indy and Sparty's videos for 4 years, I have a better understanding of their attitudes. It is no wonder peoples attitudes in the 50's were biased toward simple and quiet, given what they had just been through.
