Journaling: I Am Statements, Reframing

1. Fill up a page with "I am _____." statements.
2. Read what you wrote. Underline statements that feel good, that you like and are happy you wrote.
3. Re-read what you. Circle statements that feel not so good, that you kinda wish you didn't write or feel.
4. On a separate sheet or new page, write a list of the circled statements that you identified in step 3.
5. Draw an arrow beside each statement on that list. Reframe the statement in a positive way. Create a new perspective or focus on the opposite.
6. Share your list of statements (now all statements you feel good about) in the comments below.
7. What about this exercise was most useful for you?

I love you!!!

I am (weighed down) full of opportunities. I am (heavy) feeling deeply. I am remembering that it is more important to be and that being is enough. I am fun. I am funny. I am free. I am a free spirit. I am beautiful. I am helping people. I am (being watched) leading. I am (being perfectionist) showing up caring. I am grateful for modern technology that allows me to work in the way I do. I am (overwhelmed) right where I need to be. I am capable of everything I need to do. I am (going through transition) evolving. I am changing. I am light.
