To achieve a less menacing/demented vibe, I enhanced my gold tones by upping my yellow and purple! I also brought up shadows and increased my highlights to give it a much more whimsical versus dramatic vibe! Posing you of course keep light hearted with goofy undertones!
I used my 50mm to make it feel more portrait vs cinematic, which I would achieve with my 35mm. In my opinion, but I’ve heard others uno reverse that idea.
It was a pretty simple, edit in Lightroom, and did not take much time! I did, however have to use my healing brush to remove a few spots on her face where she has picked,
The shoot itself only took about 10 minutes and after I had completed it, I felt like a loser pants. I had argued with her all day about not having time for it and then during the session seeing how much joy it brought her, made me feel all that Mom guilt. She really loves her pictures though so I am super happy we could get it done.
