Editing this session was kind of emotional for me. Three years ago I got a email from a desperate client saying that their brother was getting married that day, and their photographer backed out that morning. They said they had reached out to a bunch of photographers but they liked my work the most, and they were begging me to come shoot their wedding that evening. At the time, atlas was only nine months old, I had never left him for more than two hours, and this would be about eight hours of being gone.

But I decided to put my brave face on and go for it. I got a babysitter for the kids and I headed off to AltaVista where I met the most adorable couple. I was so thankful I said yes and I was able to photograph their wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony full of love.

Fast forward to 6-7 months ago and I received a message from that bride! She and her husband were expecting, and they wanted to set up a maternity session. I was so excited to be able to see them again and to capture another big step in their lives!

Fast forward again to last week! I was finally able to get together with this amazing couple to celebrate their little bundle of joy! we got some of the most beautiful pictures, it was so nice just to get together and have an amazing session!!
