Ravens Roost!

I HATE shooting at Ravens roost, yes it is beautiful! But oh my lawd, the amount of photographers that flock there, makes it feel impossible. I will never tell a client no when they ask to shot here, because it is worth all the stress. I do sweat the entire day of the session however haha. It is just a place I try not to go to often. When I do go, it's always fun, I just limit my visits.
I cannot tell if it's the wildfires or just high humidity, but getting the tree/mountain line crisp was a job in itself, and even still I wish it could be more!
I shot this with my Nikon D850, and my 50mm lens, I kinda wish I had used my 35mm though, It would have given me wider backdrops, and had a more cinematic vibe. I still love this album, I am just a perfectionist!
I edited in Lightroom, like I said above, the tree/mountain line was a TASK and I had to had mask it for editing which took a hot minute. It was overcast that day as well, which is some of my favorite weather for dramatic shots! Our model got her dress from amazon and I personally think she looks like Taylor swift and I kinda wanna adopt her haha. But seriously, Carrie is such a beautiful model, inside and out and she will be such and amazing mother to this baby girl in her belly!
