Hey all!

Here with another project! With this session I wanted the sun heavily involved, so we needed the weather to work with us, which thankfully it did! I was influenced by the idea of the way we awaken after the winter. Shoutout to my seasonal depression frands.

That first time you walk out of the house after a long cold snap, and you can feel the sun against your skin, stronger than the chill in the air. The way you come alive with promises of the winter nights behind you.

I really just wanted a feeling of warmth.

I had my baby, Salem strapped to my chest for this shoot, she slept the whole time, but man my back was crying haha. I really enjoy bringing her along but she's still so random I do not trust her to not start a riot during a shoot, so she doesn't come with much! For tis shoot, she was perfect!

We started the session by both me and the model being late! She took the wrong exit, I got to location and realized I did not have my gold leafing! We ended up arriving at the same time!

Once we were both there, I started the gold leaf application! Then it was shoot time!

I have worked with Stacie in the past, so we chit chatted about life, laughed a ton, and just had a fun time!

I shot this session with my baby the Nikon D850, whose shutter count is alarmingly high. I will most likely have to purchase another soon, and I love this camera so much I will get the same model! But she's expensive, so find me on Onlyfans! kidding.. for now.

I use my trusty nifty 50mm, and we got to work! Settings were ISO 250, Fstop 1.8 and shutter was 1/250, I edited in Lightroom, with some tweaks in photoshop!
