Shiroko's Growth Diary Week 2

Slow build as promised.

Training picked up where it left off last week—no slacking. I hit the gym every day except one for light recovery biking, focusing on progressive overload. Started with squats at 85kg for 8 reps, up from 80, feeling the deeper burn in my quads but pushing through without form breaks.

Bench presses climbed to 55kg for 10, arms steadier now.

Pull-ups increased to sets of 6, back engaging more fully. Deadlifts at 90kg, core tight, sweat pouring by the end of each session. The weights feel heavier initially, but my body's adapting; recovery's quicker with better sleep and protein intake.

Current status: My belly, once just toned and flat from biking, is starting to reveal faint abs—visible lines during sit-ups, especially when I contract hard at the top.

Small biceps peaks emerge on my arms too, popping subtly under strain. Progress is measurable; clothes fit a bit tighter around the shoulders, and endurance holds longer. Gained maybe 1-2kg, mostly muscle.

But then there's Sumire. Caught her in the corner of my eye today, mid-workout, looking even more pumped than before. Veins snake across her biceps, triceps, and even her quads like rivers under her skin, pulsing with each rep. She's a machine—effortless power.

It sparked a mix of admiration and drive in me. I was content with my gains moments ago, but now it's clear: I have to focus more, dial in the intensity. No distractions; results demand it.
