Hey folks,
As many of you may already know, The Sims 4 received a brand-new main menu update today, which unfortunately broke compatibility with the Refreshed Main Menu mod. The overhaul has made it significantly more complex to not only update the mod but also to determine if it can be made functional again.
I shared this with my supporting members earlier, but I want to address it publicly now: Due to a recent loss in my close family, I’ve been unable to fully focus on creating and updating Sims content. My mental health has taken a toll, and I’m prioritizing my recovery while managing various responsibilities.
As a result, I’m not sure when I’ll have the time or capacity to revisit and potentially rebuild Refreshed Main Menu, whether in its current form or a brand-new version. I do plan to explore the possibilities, but it will take some time.
Version 1.6.0, which includes 10 new backgrounds, was in Early Access with a public release originally scheduled for early February. However, I’ve decided to make it available to everyone now for those who choose not to update their game yet. For now, let’s consider this the final, legacy version of Refreshed Main Menu.
