Hey everyone!
Back in 2019, I created a short in-game clip, which marked the beginning of my journey as SimMattically.

Today, I bring you something really special – a loading screen inspired by that clip.
But that's not all. It's coming straight from my lab of modding experiments. I made this loading screen fully animated, with a moving landscape behind the window and a slight up-and-down movement of the camera (well, it is a train after all!).

It dynamically adapts to different resolutions, so no matter what screen you play on, it will never look stretched.
I tested it thoroughly, but if there are any issues, please let me know!

October 23, 2024 - Updated the plumbob version for patch 1.110.265.
July 25, 2024 - Fixed the script so it won't cause UI Exception Report anymore.
July 14, 2024 - An alternative version without the plumbob in the lower corner has been added.

It doesn't feel so much like I'm waiting for my game to load, it feels more like I'm on my way to my destination in a train and it makes my brain so much less impatient because it feels like I'm moving forward instead of standing still if that makes any sense lol. Thank you so much for your amazing work!

As far as I know, it shouldn’t cause any problems with the game other than the exception error, so feel free to use it unless it becomes too annoying. I also noticed that another version with the plumbob also causes a lastUIException. Nevertheless, I will still use this loading screen because it is so beautiful and makes me feel relaxed. I truly appreciate your excellent work. Thank you very much!

2024-07-23 08:18:10 +0000 UTCYes, technically it is possible, but since my Plumbob is completely custom and not just an override like the other Plumbob replacements out there, it would require additional work. I will look into it, but it will take some time!
