Q&A!

Ask me anything, or even posit questions to/about characters I've had, and all questions that can be answered will be answered thoroughly!

What is generally the strongest class? Dermishade class seems quite strong and I would guess that vampire is one of the strongest. Are they all mostly equal in the long run?

Well, we both know parasitism doesn't preclude survival in the wild. ;) But thanks!

Well, all cancer cells are parasitic or have to be cultured in sterile conditions, so, they'd probably die anywhere you put them in the wild :(

Possibly three times, and they just couldn't deal with his odd mannerisms after a while. It's not his fault, he just doesn't really show emotion like a neurotypical person.

They're usually just pesky, but a Fectoid that goes unchecked can become a kaiju-size monster. It just happens every so often, maybe every year or so, like when a bad flu season hits our world.

how many times has Dr. Man been married? what caused the relationships to fail?

Say I take some human cancer cells and dump them somewhere in the world. What combination of cell line and location would give me the greatest chance that the cell line could survive indefinitely (or for geological timescales anyway) as its own species? (Is the fact that no existing organism seems to descend from the cancer cells of another organism an indication that this is naturally impossible? Or, *are* there any such organisms? I tend to think of viruses and viroids as a (generally highly-evolved) form of "subcellular cancer", but those are a different dough, since viral DNA has a much higher base survivability outside its host than cancer cells do. No comment on RNA viruses; I guess those evolved in environments densely populated with cells.)

How do fectoids factor into the Mortasheen world? They definitely fit but they seem pretty resilient with that "disease form". As subclasses go, are they relatively powerful or due to the fact that some dermishades can eradicate disease and bacteria, are they basically a form of vermin? Also how many questions can I ask?

It consists of a city of very mushroom-like buildings, which can retract down into the ground leaving only their thick, heavily armored domes exposed. Monsters are kept out of the city by a series of perimeter defenses, but the most powerful and largest Mortasheen mutations sometimes break through, and so it's up to their mechanoids to save the day. For smaller, but still persistently dangerous monsters, the pilots associated with those mecha are pretty tough heroes and heroines themselves.

any info you want to give us on Medama? (the mecha island setting in Mortasheen)
