Vampire - Polong
Added 2018-08-07 06:50:13 +0000 UTCI think if I had illustrated this today I would have actually stuck with the human-like appearance of the Polong in its original folklore; this bloody heart creature is kind of a little gauche, I think, but maybe people like that!
A polong is a female spirit in Malay folklore that can be created in a bottle of your own blood, and must be fed more blood every day to remain obedient to her summoner. In exchange, she'll use her friend the Pelesit (already uploaded!) to torment your enemies.
