Skull Nasties
Added 2016-01-29 07:37:24 +0000 UTCI've had a concept for a while for a series of Mortasheen monsters that are basically tricked-out, floating monster skulls. Just big, weird skulls with all sorts of organic weapons and powers.
They'd basically be like Dungeons and Dragons' Beholders and Beholder-kin, but flying death skulls instead of flying eyeball heads.
"Skull Nasties" was something I typed because I don't have any name for them yet...but...now I kind of like it. It's just goofy enough.
My favorites so far are the bottom middle one and the one-eyed one with all the tendrils on right side of the upper page.
I like the one with the eyes like a pair of bird heads, too.
I'm guessing each would have a grab-bag of powers. Tooth missiles, eyeball bombs, electrical tongues, acid sprays, freeze rays, fireballs, basic monster stuff that hasn't been too common in other Mortasheens yet.
