Secret thing
Added 2015-09-11 07:37:57 +0000 UTCThis is a mockup (or maybe it'll just be the final style) for a printable Halloween game I might debut in a couple days.
It's like a scavenger hunt. One player would print the monsters and hide them around another player's home, and that player would have to find them, then defeat them (by a given date) using their "fears."
Players would need to take photographic proof of each "battle," so if a monster says it fears being crawled on by ants, you need to take a photo of that monster card covered in ants.
I'd try to release 31 of them by Halloween, with the fears growing increasingly strange and obtuse.

Oooh, exciting secret times! Make one that's afraid it'll look around one day and discover it's wasted its life and accomplished nothing of value. It can be defeated by a birthday cupcake!

2015-09-11 15:41:46 +0000 UTCThe idea could be to approximate as practically as possible. For the above creature, maybe fashioning something out of tinfoil would be close enough to a broken mirror. Or maybe keep an eye out for a car with cracked rear-view mirrors.
