Vampire - the Toyol

The Toyol is a Malaysian spirit said to be the ghost of an aborted or miscarried fetus, which is summoned and enslaved by a magician in order to break into people's houses and steal money.
Really.
Some villages still believe in Toyol, and I've noticed in my research that they seem to conflate them with Western interpretations of *aliens,* often depicting them as little green men with huge, red eyes and pointed ears, or outright portraying them like the "greys" the rest of the world conflates with UFO's!
I love the idea that "aliens" might just be fetus ghosts trying to take your wallet.
