Vampire - Jaracaca
Added 2015-08-18 08:20:48 +0000 UTCPatrons only - from the WIP vampires book, the Jaracacas is a mythological vampire from Brazil taking the form of a snake, which feeds on human milk instead of blood.
The monster looks for a nursing infant, turns invisible, shoves the infant aside, and puts the end of its tail in the baby's mouth to keep it from crying.
Good academic sources on this vampire are very hard to find; it might be somewhat distorted.
