Apocalocust
Added 2015-05-12 10:39:17 +0000 UTCThis isn't a weekly Arthropoid (we're moving this month, so time is flying by hectically) but an unused drawing from years ago. I just didn't quite like how it turned out enough to use this design. The idea was a grasshopper monster who can shift into a "berserk" mode, playing off how locusts are just a different phase for certain grasshopper species. There's also a little doodle here of the monster "Nemateuthis" with all of its parasitic worms retracted.
