Mortasheen sketches - invaders!
Added 2015-03-21 01:42:37 +0000 UTCI've had an idea for a while to have a completely harmless "unknown" class monster - cute, mouse-sized little alien guys - but a series of bioconstruct monsters they designed to give themselves a fighting edge in the horrible world they've found themselves in. These are pretty early designs for them, combining aspects of stuff from different "War of the Worlds" interpretations over the decades into weird frog-bugs. I know they should logically be biomecha, but, I like the idea of them being 100% organic.

Also I figure the middle one is about human height, maybe a little less, the crabby one is two or three times larger and can fly, while the tripod with the bonier jaws is several stories tall. They may require one, two, and three pilots at a time respectively.

I might come up with something regarding piloted vs. unpiloted; maybe without a pilot, they actually have more emotion and free will of their own, which has its strengths and weaknesses in the heat of battle. A pilot turns them into focused death machines.

2015-03-22 19:47:31 +0000 UTCThe little smiling guy is the same monster as the one below it! When it opens its orifices the huge "eyes" turn out to be organic cannons and the happy mouth houses its three eyeballs!
