If you’ve never played before, you can read up about it here. In short, you have a fake $100 to spend on 8 real movies for your team. The teams that score the highest win actual prizes from Vulture.
There's a handy guide written by Joe Reid on the films of the year that you can use to help pick your team. Once you've decided on your lineup, draft your team before September 25! And to join The Doughboys league, make sure you include “Audough Focus” as your optional league name.
September 25th is the deadline to make sure you can take advantage of a fully draftable slate of movies (i.e. if you register after the 25th you won't be able to select any movies that have already accumulated points), but even if you miss that you can still join in the fun.
