Sometimes, even if I use all the knowledge I have to draw a face, it doesn’t seem pretty, while at other times, a roughly drawn face holds some mysterious charm. So, this time, I drew Nahia-chan and Hipa-chan’s faces with a relaxed mind. If you look at the character roughs, you’ll notice that I barely revised them before moving on to the line work. By not being tied to theory, I think I was able to convey Nahia-chan’s innocence and Hipa-chan’s surprise very well.
