Apple’s requirements are about to hit creators and fans on Patreon.

Today is the day when Apple does its thing and it will affect our tiers. If you are not aware, I will tell you:
A few days ago I received an email from Patreon mentioning that starting in November 2024 Apple will start charging a 30% commission on each new member that comes to me through iOS.
This WILL NOT AFFECT my current subscribers so you can rest easy. However, for new memberships, the subscription cost will go up to cover that 30% commission that Apple will start charging me. I am very sorry about this situation. It is something that is out of my control.
I hope that new patrons can support my work despite this extra charge and can continue enjoying my content.

I believe it only affects iOS app users and not Android/ Windows or even MacOS systems.
