Working Title: Seismic Veil
Description: Bands of vibrant texture spiral outward like soundwaves. The fringe below shimmers like aftershock tremors - loud but silent.

I've started to organize this project (although I'm still making masks ). I have 45 currently but some I'm not happy with so I'm making more to filter out the best after the next 10-12. This includes a reordering to ensure there's a narrative for a magazine/book after I complete the photo aspect of the project.

I'm going to upload them as they are originally numbered from 1-45. However, I'll showcase the final order which has a specific narrative in the end.

Narrative Introduction:

This body of work was created during a six-week course of TMS therapy, one mask per day. While the original order reflects the chronology of treatment, this reordering follows an emotional arc rather than time. The masks have been rearranged into a three-part narrative:
DESCENT - CONFRONTATION - EMERGENCE

This structure better reflects the internal shifts, ruptures, and small healings that unfolded in waves throughout the process. The early masks embody suppression, sensory overwhelm, and exhaustion-muted, blocked, and bound. As the sequence moves forward, the confrontation stag begins: masks erupt with texture, satire, performance, and protest, reflecting emotional release, frief, and reclamation. Finally, in emergence, the work softens. Here, honestly, gentleness, and integration begin to show through, even when they remain tentative.

This reordering doesn't overwrite the truth of the original timeline. Instead, if offers a symbolic retelling of what it feels like to unravel, confront yourself, and slowly begin again.
