Final Notice: The Sims 4 Wedding Stories Game Pack is coming! What you need to know.

It’s that lovely time of the year. Valentines’ day. Which means it’s time for Maxis to fuck your mod folder! I hope you are ready to spread it wide open!!!

But Maxis is such a tease, it’s possible your mod folder will be treated gently. In fact, game packs usually don’t break things too badly. However, it’s better to air on the side of caution. The new game pack is set to release of February 17th, 2022, which usually means the pre-patch is coming tomorrow on February 15th. As usual, if a pack release will break mods, it’s not the actual pack release which typically breaks them, but the pre-patch.

As such, your favorite modders will be active tomorrow for the pre-patch release hunting for changes and patching our work. Usually, we have things patched within hours, or on the same day. However, sometimes, the changes are so fundamental that they require 1-2 days to rework systems for a hotpatch. So, to be on the safe side, if you plan on playing modded sims during this time then please Disable Automatic Game Updates in Origin and go offline. (Origin in the upper left -> application settings -> disable automatic game updates, then origin tab again and hit ‘go offline’).
