Harvestables & Lot Traits • Feedback Discussion
Added 2024-10-04 17:32:11 +0000 UTCWhile I'm working on the site and some other admin stuff I figured I'd open a discussion post for you guys to chat about the recent harvestable changes and new lot traits.
I'd like to hear about what you like/don't like about them and any suggestions you think could make them better. I'd specifically like some more feedback on the lot traits to see if there are any adjustments you'd like to see made.
I'm also going to release the Complex Garden BETA for Pink Lotus today so that I can get some more feedback and playtesting from you guys. Please remember to BACKUP YOUR SAVES before using this mod.

I think they're quite useful! I got Outdoor Retreat so many years ago and I confess I had never used the herbalism feature until after installing your plants with the cute insects showing up, and the 'lively garden' just seem to make them appear more often! The 'waste not' also allowed me to stock up some other materials needed on the woodworking table... Overall they work so well with your other mods for crafting, etc! I'm really loving it and having no trouble with them whatsoever. Everything is working just as intended.

2024-10-20 10:18:00 +0000 UTCI will check out the issue with the animations when I get a chance. EA plants won't show up in the Brazen Homestead section but I'm looking at adding it soon. Let me know if you're having any issues with any of the custom ones :)

2024-10-10 13:57:52 +0000 UTCI don't have all the expansion packs so I know I'm not getting the full effects of the lot challenges- but I am really enjoying the added bugs! my sims glitch when they catch the bugs- I assume there's a missing animation from an expansion pack I don't have- but it doesn't cause any real problem so I am accepting it and just planning to buy the other expansion packs next time they go on sale. I am also really enjoying the notebook entries for various things (I think that's new?) but when sims research plants they are not showing up individual plant entries. I really enjoy sims building collections of things and notebook entries are a good way to track what they have found!

2024-10-10 05:35:10 +0000 UTCI'm loving the Sheltered Garden lot trait! It doesn't seem to work on oversized crops however, so I'd love that change. I also love the visual effects and buffs from the Lively Garden trait, but would definitely use it more if there were more uses for the bugs you collect! More recipes or crafting purposes would be great; I'd love to be able to make Eco Lifestyle dyes with them, for example!!
