Troubleshooting Issues

Before You Start:
➔ Review the download pages on my site and make sure you've installed all required or updated files for any content you're having trouble with. Most of the time this solves the problem.
➔ Make sure that you've followed all the instructions in the Installation & Updates post.
➔ If a lot or your save won't load, make sure you've completed all the steps in the Save or Lot Won't Load post.

Troubleshooting:
Please follow the instructions below to troubleshoot any issues you are having with my content.
1) Check that it's not an EA issue.
- Remove all custom content.
- Clear your Cache.
- Load the game and test.
➔ If you are having the issue with all custom content removed then try repairing your game. If that doesn't work, it's an EA bug.
➔ If the issue is gone after removing all your mods then continue to the next step.
2) Verify that my content is the issue.
- Add back my custom content ONLY.
- Clear your Cache.
- Load the game and test.
➔ If you don't have the issue then my content is not causing the issue, you have conflicting files, or you have a broken mod installed. You can review the download pages on my site for more information on potential conflicts.
➔ If you still have the issue move on to the next step.
3) Did you get an LE report?
If you get an LE after the last step, try the following:
- Load your Save.
- Choose the 'Save As' option from the menu and make a new save.
- Close the game and Clear your Cache.
- Reload the new save.
➔ If you're still getting an LE then you can post it in the 'rᥱρort_ιssᥙᥱs' channel on my Discord. If you didn't get an LE, then move on to the next step.
NOTE ON LE's:
An LE is a 'Last Exception' report that triggers when the game logs an issue. I prefer the format of the reports that MCCC creates, and I find it to be more accurate than Better Exceptions, but the LE's created by either of those mods will work.
4) Isolate the broken content with the 50/50 method.
- Move half of your mods to a temporary folder.
- Clear your Cache.
- Load the game and test.
➔ If you still have the issue, then the file is still in your mods folder. Repeat the process above until you find the file or files that are causing the issue. Now that you know which file is causing the issue, you can report the problem in the 'rᥱρort_ιssᥙᥱs' section of my Discord.
NOTE ON TESTING:
Due to how my different types of content are created, some are more likely to experience issues after an update than others. Here is a list of content types in order from the most to least likely to have issues:
1) Core Mods
2) Mods
3) Recipes
4) Harvestables
5) Objects
