Cheesemaking Beta Ver.1
Added 2023-04-09 23:24:03 +0000 UTCThis is the first part of what I've made for the cheesemaking mod. There's not a lot here but it lays the foundation to collect items needed for cheesemaking from items in-game.
The Core Mod and Xml Injector are required for this to work properly.
You can collect the following items:
- White Mold Cultures - collect from Spoiled Cheese
- Blue Mold Cultures- collect from Spoiled Bread
- Microbe Cultures- collect from Berries & Leafy Veggies
- Yeast Cultures - collect from Root Veggies & Grains
- Immature Artichoke Seeds - collect from Artichoke Plant 1x every day
- Fig Sap - collect from Fig Tree 1x every day
To collect the mold cultures you must be level 8 in Gourmet Cooking or any level Botanist. To collect the microbes and yeast you must be level 8 in Gardening. Right now you don't need any skill to collect artichoke seeds or fig sap but it will eventually require Cheesemaking to collect.
For now the only thing that you can use is the Yeast which is an ingredient in fermenting vinegar. The Artichoke Seeds and Fig Sap will be used to make Rennet, and the other items will all be used in cheesemaking recipes.
I'll be posting a new iteration of the Beta version of this mod every week until it's complete. Next week I'll have the skill ready as well as the first few levels of cheese recipes. The week after that I should have the remaining cheese recipes complete and the week after that I should have the food recipes finished to wrap up and round out the skill.
